Dog Walk Draft Grades: Best Phone Apps

This week's Dog Walk Draft was wide open, no categories, just the best phone apps of all-time. With that said, let's get into the grades:
WARNING: Spoilers Below
Team #1 (Left off poll): D+
Uber Eats as a #1 overall pick is laughably bad considering Uber went #2 overall. The Apple Wallet if I'm being honest, I do not use at all and am not very aware of, so I'll throw out the grade there. Touchtunes was confusing in the 3rd Round, especially with four heavy hitters following it. Acorn advertised with Barstool awhile ago and this Drafter did the best endorsement of the app I've heard. I will be downloading it. Amazon in the 5th round is a STEAL and really saved this from a D- draft. Who doesn't use it? Very good and props for the guys for bringing up that that's your barcode discount at Whole Foods, even if you basically never get money off.
Team #2: A-
Going Uber #2 overall with Uber Eats going #1 is a power move. Just torpedoed Team #1's draft and also a great pick. Loved the discussion about enabling a new way to go out with your buddies. Weather app is a great pick, but as a Weather app user myself, I know the AccuWeather app my wife has is a lot more accurate, so I'll ask her the weather if we're together. So I'll ding this slightly, but I agree with the concept. The Barstool Sportsbook is maybe my favorite app, so this spoke to me. I initially didn't like the snapchat selection when I saw the graphic, but I think it was argued well in the fact that it was revolutionary. Notes app is decent value for Round 5 as it's the best place to store things like your frequent flier numbers and things like that.
Team #3: A-
Instagram and Spotify are a powerhouse combo in Rounds 1 and 2. Watch ESPN was argued very well and I can see the value there. Sitting on a park bench watching games sounds kinda nice. FaceTime is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, especially during a time when people weren't seeing each other as much in person. Shazam is sneaky value in Round 5 and knowing the song you just heard is always a benefit.
Team #4: B-
I hate Waze as a 1st Rounder. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I'm just a Maps guy. Plugs right into your car and uses apple play. It also gives you the heads up on speed traps and comes pre-installed. So if it ain't broke don't fix it, so I'm not downloading Waze if Maps works just fine. #4 overall was a great spot to snag anything from Twitter to all of Round 2. I would have even liked YouTube as a pick there, which he got in the 3rd, so kind of neutralizes the grade. Venmo is a good pick in Round 2 and hearing White Sox Dave is a Venmo delinquent is not surprising to anyone who is familiar with the Chicago crew. Lyft is solid, but he pretty much splits the car service vote, so I didn't like that as a Draft pick. The flashlight app is very new to me, but I do enjoy it. Much better than using the other flashlight app and just getting autoplay ads with volume.
Team #5: B+
The was a wildly competitive draft. It's really anybody's game. I love the Twitter pick at the 5 spot and taking The Score on the turn. I only downloaded The Score when Penn acquired them and I can honestly say it's a gamechanger. The podcast app is good, but I'm a Spotify guy, so Team #5 essentially split the vote on two of their five picks. Otherwise this was an A draft. TikTok Round 4 was outstanding value as well.
