A Dark Day In Pittsburgh: The Ketchup Bottles Are Coming Down At The Stadium Formerly Known As Heinz Field While Steelers Fans Create A Petition To Block Acrisure Field From Becoming The New Name

Devastating news from the Steel City today. Steelers fans already knew the future was uncertain for their proud franchise once Big Ben hung up his walking boot in search of finding happiness in retirement. But seeing the big ketchup bottles responsible for these types of moments just seems like too much for a fanbase to take.

Which explains why Steelers Nation was passionate enough to start a petition stopping the name being changed from Heinz Field to Acrisure Field. Sure some would say there is an issue or 2 million that are more pressing in this great nation of ours. But those people don't have to worry about learning how to say and then trying to pronounce Acrisure with a Yinzer accent.

For the record, by my count this would be the first online petition that ever got anything changed for a disgruntled fanbase that involved that fanbase's team making a shitload of money. But I'm rooting for Steelers fans from afar as a Giants fan since MetLife is a perfectly fine name for a stadium but said stadium is the most boring piece of shit that could possibly be built within the last 15 years for $1.6 BILLION that somehow was built right around the same time as the technological marvel known as Jerry's World.

I'm sorry, can you excuse me for a second?

Okay, I'm fine. I'm fine.

Anyway, keep fighting the good fight Steelers fans and buy a shirt. Because as the old saying goes, stand for something or fall for anything. I think that's how it goes.
