Programming Note Update: Frank The Tank Is Now Banned From Tweeting Anything Negative About The Mets For The Rest Of August Too!

I had to give a quick update on this programming note since earlier this week, we had a smidge of potential bad news about Jacob deGrom pop up that was constantly hammered home as being not a big deal by every Mets beat reporter.

Followed by our pal Frank being, well, Frank and saying Jacob deGrom would not pick up a baseball the rest of the season.

That was followed by me once again making a bet with Frank.

Which was followed by Frank being wrong. Again. For roughly the 858,179,618th this season.

So Frank will not be tweeting anything negative about the Mets until September 1st, which carries us through both Yankees series, a series against the Padres, a couple of series against the Phillies, two games against the Dodgers, and NINE games against the Braves in two weeks. To which I once again tell #MetsTwitter.

Don't worry Frankettes, I will make sure to wake up Frank The Crank when September begins.

*Unless he loses another piece of cake bet to me that knocks his negativity out for the rest of September

Also for all the Fleming Lemmings that need Frank's negativity about the Mets to get through their miserable lives, this was my offer when he was banned for the rest of July.

However, I have more breaking news!

Frank The Tank's Twitter bail is now $250K. So either hit my Venmo with a quarter million to hear Frank The Tank lose his mind about 25 strangers that play a sport for a living or shut the fuck up. However if you have a hankering for some mean tweets about a baseball team, may I suggest following Frank The Yank who does such a good job imitating our Frank, I sometimes think it's him

If you want to hear level-headed fans talk about the Mets, check out today's We Gotta Believe where Chris Castellani joined us to talk about the Juan Soto negotiations, potential trade deadline targets, and just some good baseball chatter because Chris is a delight to chop it up with.
