Tip For All My Fellow Orioles Fans - Sit Back, Enjoy The Ridiculous Run And Stop Bitching About 'Bandwagon Fans'

I feel like this shouldn't be a thing, but with the invention of Twitter this seems to be a growing trend. I need everyone to shut up about the Orioles and bandwagon fans. This isn't even just an Orioles thing - a team that I love and grew up with. This is for any team that has some sort of historical turnaround or hot streak.

This is also a Twitter thing. Well aware. Just because people aren't talking about a team on a daily basis on Twitter doesn't mean they aren't watching. It doesn't mean they stop caring. We gotta stop taking Twitter so damn serious and it's all black and white. Get back to firing off jokes. Get back to not taking everything word for word. 

As for the Birds? This is fucking awesome. They are entertaining, they are decent (perhaps even good) and most importantly, young. This is a core that's growing. Shit, the biggest offseason signing was Rougned Odor or Jordan Lyles. It's not like the O's went out and made some ridiculous offseason signings. It's mostly just young guys figuring out the game and a pitching staff currently lights out. 

How long is this run going to last? I have no idea. That's the beauty of it all. Whether you're an O's fan, a Mariners fan or whatever surprise team comes along, just sit back and enjoy the ride. Don't let fans who scream about bandwagon fans deter you. The ride is the best part of this all. Oh, also, every single goddamn team in the world has bandwagon fans. We just need to know it's going to be out there.
