YOUR BALTIMORE ORIOLES HAVE WON 9 IN A ROW AND ARE AT .500 THIS LATE IN THE SEASON FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2017!
THIS TEAM IS GOOD!!!! The Orioles are ROLLING right now and no one can stop them. A nice come from behind win for their 9th win in a row, their longest winning streak since 1999. But more importantly is they now sit at 44-44. A .500 ball club 88 games into the season. Last year at one point they were 44-93. This is also the latest the team has been over .500 since September 9th, 2017, almost 5 years ago. No one thought this team would sniff .500 this season, 60 wins wasn't guaranteed, now it looks like they have a legit chance to win 80. This is the most fun I've had watching baseball since like May of 2017 when they were actually good. They're blowing everyones minds right now with how they're playing and just can't stop winning. Close games, blowout wins, walk-offs, doesn't matter because they win them all. .500 ball in by far the toughest division in baseball this late into the season says a lot about this club.
Not to mention they had the worst record in baseball last season and have the #1 pick on Sunday. The turnaround since mid-May has been insane, 38-30 in their last 68 games too. Everything is clicking, the offense is rolling, the pitchers are absolutely SHOVING, the bullpen is air tight, it's been a magical run of baseball. The Orioles are 9 wins away from passing their win total from last year and we're not even done the second week in July. It's just amazing. The schedule gets a little tougher with the Yankees and Rays coming up before the deadline but man, for now you just have to ride the wave and watch these guys have fun. Everyone is contributing, Adley, Mancini, Mullins, JORDAN LYLES is pitching like a stud, everyone in the bullpen, Jorge Mateo hitting bombs out of the 9 hole, it's a perfect storm for them right now and it's all going their way. Just 2 games out of a wild card spot, this team is playing with house money and that is dangerous sometimes. I just love this team so much, lets see how long this rollercoaster ride lasts, but for now we're gonna keep on having fun. It's also wild that the entire AL East is at or above .500 now, entire division is cruising. But seriously, pray for the rest of the AL because this team is on a mission. I just can't get over how much fun this team is right now.
