An F-18 Super Hornet Fell In The Mediterranean Sea After Being Pushed Off An Aircraft Carrier By…. Wind

This is one of those stories where I’d love to see the reaction from the higher ups. Telling the Captain that you lost a 60 million dollar jet to the sea is probably a bad time. Luckily, everyone was fine and no one was seriously injured from what I understand. It’s also a testament to how great the ground crews on those ships are. Things were back up and running in 45 minutes. Not the jet though. That’s still in the sea.  This segment starts at the 42:30 mark in the show.
