I haven't been able to consistently dunk since junior year of high school, back then I was 6'3 175lbs and playing basketball all the time. Over that offseason, I put on 20 lbs and lost a lot of my consistent bounce. Recently I have been playing a lot of Pickup games and I am not too happy with my verticle. (I also may have gotten dunked on but we will move past that)
With this time I will be changing my workouts to try to increase my verticle and be able to dunk. Frankly, it is embarrassing that I cannot consistently dunk at my height I totally understand that. In the coming weeks, I will be using a dunk-in-30 days program as well as sprinkling in exercises I see across the internet.

I will also be doing other classic dunk exercises.
I will get an official test on my vertical and my standing reach to see just how many inches I need to add to my vertical in order to dunk.
It will be a long road and will probably require slimming down. I am simply too heavy to dunk right now and more training plus less weight to push will be perfect. I hope to be able to consistently dunk in pickup games mostly to expand my game from outside shots, driving, and put backs on offense.
I have always blamed the round earth for why I can't dunk. If the earth is round then how am I supposed to get over the curve to dunk? Think about it.
See the round earth is the reason I can't dunk. That hump makes it impossible.
If the world was flat I would easily be able to dunk.
In a roundabout way, a lot of physical activity is mental. According to Wikipedia, Flat Earthers believe there is a rim of ice around the world and in order to prove the earth is flat, we have to get above the rim. To dunk I have to get above the rim.

According to the most widely spread version of current flat-Earth theory, NASA is guarding the Antarctic ice wall that surrounds Earth. Flat-Earthers argue that NASA manipulates and fabricates its satellite images, based on observations that the color of the oceans changes from image to image and that continents seem to be in different places. The publicly perpetuated image is kept up through a large-scale practice of "compartmentalization", according to which only a select number of individuals have knowledge about the truth.
I have to convince myself the Earth is flat in order to dunk. This is the only way to get above the rim.
This is going to be a tour de force of mind, body, space, time, and all understanding.
