One Constant In The Last 300+ Years Is That Rising Cost Of Food Leads Directly To Revolution. Food Shortage Could Lead To "Bread Wars" Around The World

Upon popular demand Eddie and I talked about the food plant fires that have become seemingly an almost weekly occurrence in 2022. Corners of the internet have leaped to say that this is a coordinated conspiracy. My read on the situation after doing some homework is that it is unlikely we are looking at some sort of nefarious coordinated effort to impact food supply. Not all of these fires have resulted in some sort of catastrophic loss of production. That doesn't mean that they're not significant because the last 300 years have been riddled with wars, riots, and revolutions that were directly linked to food shortages and/or high prices.

There have been 31 different violent events linked directly to food shortages since the 17th century. These are cross cultural. Man's most basic need being impacted by policy seemingly always leads to big trouble.

Now we are seeing it right in our face and some experts say that these inflationary prices haven't even begun. I get organic pastured raised eggs because that is one thing I think there is a HUGE difference in and I will pay for quality. Those eggs last year cost between like $4.59 and $5.99. Now they're just shy of $12 a carton. A dollar an egg. There are people predicting that shitty eggs will be at $12/carton this fall. I feel like the war in Ukraine hasn't really touched Americans very much and it's not in our face every day like it was in March. That is about to change. Planting season for Ukraine, which is like the Kansas/Iowa of Europe, has come and gone. Russia is also targeting grain silos as part of their war effort. Russia is also a HUGE exporter of fertilizer that is now not as available on the international market due to sanctions so agricultural production/yield in other countries will likely also decline in this year's harvest. All adds up to VERY scary end to the year in 2022 and all roads seem to lead back to our podcast on the Strauss-Howe Theory we did last year.
