The Most ABSURD Streak In Sports Has NOT Come To An End In 2022

Just absolutely ASTOUNDING that this was ever a streak. Over 40 years of having one of Jagr's teammates playing in the Stanley Cup Final is preposterous. Generations of players and champions and all roads lead back to 68. It is an absolutely BANANAS stat that is so incredible that I can't even begin to understand how someone could think to put this together. I

The 2014 Olympic games had a Czechia team that featured both Jaromir Jagr and Ondrej Palat.

Jagr and Palat never played together in the NHL, but that isn't what the graphic says. It says a "teammate of Jagr". Well…Palat and Jagr were teammates for a short stretch in the Sochi Winter Olympic Games. They played 4 games together. Teammates, by definition so the streak lives. 

One segment that went undrafted in our ESPN Draft from today is "Did You Know". I feel like this has did you know written all over it. Jagr has teammates in the Stanley Cup Final for 42 straight years. Absolutely absurd. If Florida gets to the Final next year it could continue with Radko Gudas. Jagr's legend continues.
