Notre Dame Eliminates No. 1 Tennessee in the Super Regionals

Best team in the country. 49-0 when leading after six innings. And it all came crashing down in Game 3 of a home Super Regional.

People are going to revel in the Vols' demise and that's fine. They talked shit all year, so that's going to happen when you lose. Credit to Notre Dame for coming up huge when they needed to.

I will never take the cup off again, though. I can promise you that. My plan is to never care about sports again at all, but in the event I eventually turn on another game at some point, I will never let myself believe. Tennessee will always find a way to do this.
