Tony Hawk Pro Skater Series Was So Successful That Activision Handed Tony Hawk A Casual $4 Million Check During One Of Their Annual Lunches

This is so very well deserved from quite literally the skating GOAT! The success of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series was so great that Tony's lead contact at Activision handed him a $4 Million check one day at lunch. Before handing Tony the check, the rep told Tony that the previous 3 were in the Top 10 game sales and they would be hitting 'Classic" status soon. This would imply a reduced price point but a ton more copies to be sold.

That check for Tony Hawk represented his annual royalty that the game provided him. Not bad!

The entire Tony Hawk Pro Skater series was SO much fun to play on the PS2. The gameplay was awesome and the series also featured one of the most iconic opening animations of all time.
