'It's Fucking Awesome' - The Only Correct Statement About The Status Of College Hoops After A Bunch Of Stars Decided To Come Back

You want an honest blog? I'm going to give you an honest blog about the state of college basketball. It's fucking awesome. That's basically the entire blog. We already had the reigning NPOY Oscar Tshiebwe come back. We already had Armando Bacot come back. Now we have Drew Timme and a whole lot more. Take a look at some of these names deciding to come back yesterday:

We're talking All-Americans, All-Conference and complete game changers. Good. This is what everyone wants with college basketball right? A mix of one-and-dones and big names sticking around. Thanks to NIL we're getting more of that.

Also get ready for a lot of Gonzaga talk again. Not only did they get Timme back, they got Strawther who changes the way they play. Rasir Bolton decided to come back. It sounds like they are going to land Malachi Smith from the portal. Oh and then throw in they have guys like Nolan Hickman still around, a former 5-star who will take a jump as a sophomore. Same with Hunter Sallis. Don't forget they also got Efton Reid out of the portal. I know people won't like it, but they are going to be preseason 1 or 2 again and rightfully so. People will hate on them all year because they don't watch their games and just think because they haven't won a title they are some sort of failure or whatever. Gonzaga is legit.

Then there's Houston. All Houston does is win games. Now they get Marcus Sasser back after making a run to the Elite Eight without him against Nova. Yeah, that's a dude that can get them back to a Final Four. He's the elite scorer that Houston missed against Nova. That three-headed monster of Sasser, Mark and Shead is legit and then you throw in a McDonald's All-American in Jerace Walker. Another top-5 preseason team likely here.

All I know is this season is going to be what fans want. Names people know. You're going to have a mix of blue bloods like Kentucky, UNC and Kansas in the top-10 returning a bunch of guys. You have the new blood in Gonzaga and Houston. It's fucking awesome.
