OHIO!!!! Sports Betting Will Be Live On January 1st, 2023

Let me say this: I've been taught not to complain about my shoes when your neighbor has no feet. There's plenty of states out there that have no sports gambling at all, so I shouldn't be so hung up on the fact that we have to wait another 6 months, when the rumors were saying we would be live by the start of football season. 

HOWEVER, I cannot stay silent on this glorious day. This good news is not good enough. Governor Dewine said a year ago that we should start as soon as we're ready, with the absolute last possible day being January 1st. And you're telling me 6 months in advance that we can't expedite the process a little bit? How do you legalize sports gambling for the END of football season? Why would you not want to start with a bang? In fact, Ohio literally has the perfect start date: Saturday, September 3rd. The first day of college football season.

It's a no brainer. The biggest college football game of the season is being played in Columbus, Ohio on opening weekend, and the great people of this state will have no skin in the game. SAD!

The only thing keeping me out of my psychiatrist's office this morning is the hopes that the PENN OWNED Columbus Casino might become a Barstool Sportsbook?
