Rivals And Announcers Couldn't Stop Making Fun Of Ryan Reynolds And Rob McElhenney During Wrexham's Playoff Match

Hey! You knock that off Stockport. Congrats you won the league title edging out Wrexham. We're in year 1 of the Ryan/Mac leadership over here. We're doing our best and yeah I say our because Wrexham is America's team. Leeds is close with Jesse Marsch and signing Brenden Aaronson, but we all can get behind Wrexham. I mean, sure, it's an A+ move to fly the banner over a playoff game as you're just hanging out already promoted. 

But what's not an A+ move is this announcer getting on Ryan and Mac for celebrating.

Hey guy, they have a point. Offsides is stupid. I say this as a soccer fan. I say this as someone who played soccer my entire life. I hate it. I understand the rule, but I hate it, especially when it's offsides by like an arm and VAR checks. Fuck outta here with that. Rob understands though. 

As they should! You don't know it's offsides right away. You see a goal, you celebrate. Pretty basic rule here. In fact I'm throwing out an objection to the match because Wrexham lost in extra time. 

Tough ending for year 1 but plenty to build on. Wrexham will be fine. Like I said, I want the story of them getting promoted a few times. We're getting an FX show on them, might as well keep winning.
