THE ORIOLES SCORE 10 UNANSWERED FROM THE 7TH INNING ON AND COME BACK TO BEAT THE RED SOX 12-8!!!

Now THAT is how you start off Memorial Day Weekend. The O's were out of this game before it even started. Kyle Bradish needed 25 pitches to get an out, the Orioles gave up 4 in the first, 2 in the second and were down 6 before you could blink. The Sox got into the Orioles bullpen SUPER EARLY and that isn't what you want when you have an insane 5 game series with a double header on Saturday. The Os were able to limit the bleeding and staged an incredible comeback, easily the most impressive game of the Orioles season. Boston came in as arguably the hottest team in baseball, they've been scoring a billion runs....but the Os were able to outlast them and crawl all the way back. I've been saying it. This team isn't the Orioles that we saw the last few years. They still have work to do but they are good. They're going to ruin seasons, they're going to get your attention, and like tonight if you don't cut their head off they can come back and get you in the ass.

The Orioles couldn't really get anything going off of Garrett Whitlock who limited them to 2 runs over 6 innings, but the second they got into that bullpen the Birds started to eat.

As they've done all year they never gave up, stayed calm and just kept playing. That resulted in a Jorge Mateo 3-run bomb over the monster to get it to 8-5.

And then we had an Austin Hays monster shot to bring it to within 1.

An error by Raffy Devers allowed Cedric Mullins to score and tie the game at 8 and then it was Tony Taters again who was able to drop one right in front of Jackie Bradley Jr. for the go-ahead run.

The Os then got a wild pitch to score a run, and a sac fly from Ryan Mountcastle to give them a 3-run lead which left the Red Sox shook. They thought this game was over. They were ready to head to the Garden to watch the Celtics. Nope, Orioles still weren't done.

Rougned Odor has turned into the clutchest hitter I've ever seen and came through with another huge RBI to push it to 12-8 which would be the final. 10 unanswered runs over the last 3 innings to absolutely suck the air right out of Fenway and take the first game of this 5 game series. Incredible win for the Orioles, absolutely incredible. Your starter goes 1 2/3rds innings after giving up 6 runs and you win by 4? Unreal job by the offense and especially the bullpen. I keep saying it. Don't sleep on the Orioles. Don't. They'll comeback on your ass so fast. The at-bats this team's had lately have been awesome, the bullpen is still nails. I don't know what it is about them but they don't get rattled. It's great. Love the heart and fight behind these Baby Birds.
