History Has Finally Been Righted And Joel Embiid Is Officially Your 2022 MVP

I think we can all say without a shred of a doubt that the 2022 NBA MVP Award was purposefully and strategically stolen away from Joel Embiid. For whatever ulterior motive the national media has, they don't want to see Joel Embiid thrive. They don't want to see the Philadelphia 76ers thrive (not that they ever will anyway since the Sixers are a joke of an organization and shit their pants in the playoffs year after year). But for some reason or another, there are 65 imbeciles in the world who took advantage of their power and voted Nikola Jokic at the top of their MVP ballot ahead of Joel Embiid.

It's sad because history will only remember the result, and now how the vote was so clearly rigged in Jokic's favor. But thankfully there are folks out there who are willing to fight for the truth. Folks out there who are willing to justify the wrongs. Folks out there like the Philadelphia City Council who unanimously named Joel Embiid the 2022 MVP today.

The Most Valuable Philadelphian, that is.

I mean what in the actual fuck are we doing here, people? I need names. I need to know who each and every one of these city council members are and I need them removed from office immediately. This is the most embarrassing shit I've ever seen. If I were Joel Embiid, I'd demand a trade out of Philly immediately after seeing this nonsense. What a bunch of nerds. What a bunch of assholes. This is something I'd expect to see out of a place like Minnesota. A place that is simply just happy to exist and be there.

We can't be doing this shit in Philadelphia. We can't be celebrating losers. We can't be championing a team that constantly fails to achieve their goal year after year. We need to be calling into sports talk radio every morning bashing these guys and acting like our 6th CYO basketball teams had more heart than the Sixers did in game 7. What a joke. These council members ought to be ashamed of themselves. They're clearly not Philly sports fans. And if they're not Philly sports fans, then they shouldn't be representing the people. Get them out.

Either way, congrats to Joel Embiid. Build the statue.
