Sasha Banks And Naomi Walked Out Of Monday Night RAW Last Night Over Creative Differences

WWE- When Sasha Banks and Naomi arrived at the arena this afternoon, they were informed of their participation in the main event of tonight's Monday Night Raw. During the broadcast, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk and walked out.

They claimed they weren't respected enough as tag team champions. And even though they had eight hours to rehearse and construct their match, they claimed they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents even though they'd had matches with those individuals in the past with no consequence. Monday Night Raw is a scripted live TV show, whose characters are expected to perform the requirements of their contract. We regret we were unable to deliver, as advertised, tonight's main event.

Last night, the main event of RAW was scheduled to be a Six Pack Challenge between Naomi, Sasha Banks, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Doudrop, and Nikki A.S.H. for a shot at Bianca Belair's RAW Women's Championship....

About halfway through the episode, they just started ignoring the originally planned main event completely and talking about the night's NEW main event, Becky Lynch vs Asuka for a shot at the #1 contendership! Everyone on social media was confused, wondering if somebody tested positive for COVID or something mid-show, but then reports started coming out that Sasha and Naomi were not pleased with their creative plans for the night, so they walked out.

Corey Graves and Becky Lynch later confirmed these reports with canon references to the incident, with the likely intention of "burying" their characters....

This isn't the first time we've heard Sasha Banks unhappy with creative plans - and there was a famous report years ago where it was said she and Bayley cried on the floor after dropping the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35 - but I'll reserve my judgement on which side is right/wrong til more info comes out.

We heard The Revival was unhappy with their creative at WWE constantly before they left, and they were called whiney crybabies by large portions of wrestling twitter, and THESE were their creative plans….

Now look at them getting the respect they deserve as one of the greatest tag teams on the planet. Sometimes saying "that doesn't work for me" and hitting the road is justified and works in this business. Sometimes it's stupid and it doesn't. Jury is still out on this one.
