The Reds Just Threw A No-Hitter.....AND LOST!

There isn't another team that this could happen to. Throwing a no-hitter and losing? That's Reds baseball baby! Even when they do something good they still catch an L. If you're the Pirates and their fans nothing else matters today because you won the game! Who cares about getting no-hit as long as you walk away with the W.

Hunter Greene started the game throwing a billion MPH, struck out 9, walked 5, gave up no hits, but got charged with a run that came on a Ke'Bryan Hayes fielders choice in 7 1/3rd innings. Art Warren came up for mop up duty in the 8th and got the next 2 outs after walking a batter. So lots of guys on, but no hits. BUT THE RUN! They gave up the run! The Pirates used small ball to win a game they got no-hit in which is kind of a coach's dream. What a bizarre game featuring two bizarre teams. First time this has happened since June 28th, 2008 when the Angels ho-hit the Dodgers and lost. No-hitter and you lose, go figure it's Cincy. One of the weirder games you will ever see.
