Logan Thompson Deserves To Sue Each And Every One Of His Vegas Golden Knights Teammates

Jack Eichel? Your ass better lawyer up.

Shea Theodore? Lawyer up, bitch.

Mark Stone? Nicolas Roy? Max Pacioretty? Chandler Stephenson? Jonathan Marchessault? Evgenii Dadonov? Luckily you guys have a ton of free time coming up here because you're going to be so jammed up in court your head will spin.

Why are all these losers getting sued? Why should the American judicial system lock these clowns away for life? Pretty simple, really.

Well because the 3rd straight game with the season on the line, the Vegas Golden Knights went to a shootout. And for the 3rd straight game with the season on the line, not a single Vegas Golden Knights shooter was able to score a goal in the shootout. Which again puts the entire season squarely on the shoulders of Logan Thompson. In those 3 shootouts with the season on the line, Logan Thompson has faced 17 shots. He's made 14 saves.

Granted, even if the Knights won that shootout last night they would have been eliminated from playoff contention with the Stars picking up a point in their overtime loss to Arizona. But it's the principle of the matter. Vegas traded Marc-Andre Fleury in the offseason to open up cap space to bring in Evgenii Dadonov for a little more offensive firepower. Aside from the fact that they tried (and failed) to trade him at the deadline, Dadonov is making $5M to score 1 goal and 1 assist in Vegas' last 6 games. Then the Knights went out and traded for Jack Eichel this year to surely put them over the top as a Stanley Cup favorite. Jack Eichel is making $10M to score 0 goals and 1 assist and go 0/3 in shootout attempts in Vegas' last 6 games. Although he did make the play of the night last night in Chicago.

Mark Stone. $9.5M to have 1 assist in their last 6 games. Max Pacioretty has actually been playing perfectly fine. But still. You have all these stars and the last 3 games have all come down to a goalie that wasn't even supposed to be here, has given Vegas every chance to still get it done, stopped 82% of the shootout attempts he's faced, and the fellas still let him down. There has to be a lawyer out there chomping at the bit to take that case.

Couldn't agree more with the Sharks here.

Great season though, guys. Really gave it your all. And that's all you can ask for.
