If The Sixers Have Any Chance At Not Completely Shitting This Series Away, It Starts With Making Joel Embiid A Player-Coach Immediately

If you know anything about the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers men's professional shooty hoops team, then you know this series is as good as over. 2 straight losses in rather horrific fashion, now having to travel back up to Toronto for game 6 in an environment where Joel Embiid is going to be worried about the fans more than anything, nobody else able to step up and put an end to the series, then having to come back home and trust a Doc Rivers coached team in a game 7 where they've already shit away a 3-0 series lead?

The fact of the matter is that for whatever reason, the Sixers simply have neither the heart nor balls to be able to overcome that type of adversity. Or really any sort of adversity thrown their way on a basketball court. It just seems like it'll be a whole lot easier on everyone if you just mentally prepare yourselves now for the fact that the season is over and it's going to end in completely demoralizing fashion, as per usual.

If there is any sliver of hope, any molecule of a chance, for the Sixers to go out there and end this series once and for all? Well it starts with telling Doc Rivers to go fuck off somewhere and make Joel the player/coach for the time being. Because he's already doing Doc's job for him anyway.

Plus maybe if you give Embiid a little more responsibility as a coach, he'll stop focusing so much on his thumb. I get it's a brutal injury to play through but it also seems like one of those things that really only bothers him when he messes up. So now you have Embiid who can just get exactly what he needs out of the rest of his guys, you have James Harden getting a fire lit under his ass for the first time in his playoff career, you have Doc Rivers able to just chill at home without having to worry about blowing another playoff series in 7, maybe you can send Thybulle back to Australia, don't play Danny Green in the 2nd half ever again, and maybe you come out of this one unscathed.

But unless all of those things happen, this series is over. You know it. I know it. The Sixers know it. Help us, Philadelphia Stars. You're our only hope.
