Kyrie Got His Ass Swept And Promptly Promoted Himself To Executive Of The Nets During His Press Conference Because He's A Delusional Asshole

I swear I've read this quote no less than 10 times and each time it's fucking hilarious. Kyrie, the man who has been nothing but a headache to the Nets, a man who just got his ass swept by his former team and everything else just said he should be MANAGING THE FRANCHISE. You know what? Go for it. Let's see how it works out when Kyrie has to look at the salary cap and figure out Bird Rights and all this other shit. 

The entire story of Kyrie will always be insane to me, which is fitting. Dude has unlimited talent. Dude has arguably the best handles we've seen. Won a title with the Cavs and then seemingly became the most delusional asshole out of nowhere. After delusion came quotes that didn't even make sense and he became the biggest weirdo in the NBA, if not all of sports. 

Now I know Nets fans are basically Frank and like 7 other people, but how do you deal with this? Remember, back in October of 2020 Kyrie said he didn't really see the need of having a head coach. Said him and KD could do it even. Now he's promoting himself to executive just minutes after another shitty game that ended your season. Man, worry about winning a playoff game before you start making executive decisions. 

Now obviously stars have a say in shit. But we're talking about a say, not out here helping manage a team. That's insane. That just doesn't happen - unless you veto a trade for a shooter that makes sense to your roster only to sign your friends and miss the playoffs out West. That's the only time a player manages a team though. Everyone else? No. Kyrie shouldn't be making any tough decisions. Focus on the shape of the Earth perhaps first. 

I'm not even lying when I say that quote in a postgame press conference might be the most delusional asshole quote we've ever seen.
