You Gotta Love Some Mid-Week Knockouts

The Professional Fighters League returned tonight on ESPN with the first event of the 2022 season, and it's been a great night of fights so far - one of the best aspects, tho? Simply the fact that they run events on Wednesdays. Mid-week fights are pretty rare in American MMA but the PFL totally fills that void and will continue to do so for the next couple weeks with some great cards. This knockout was a beauty, though, and I had to share - that follow up shot was perfectly placed.

I'd definitely recommend checking them out, especially if you're just sitting around on a lazy Wednesday night. You'll probably recognize names here and there from the UFC/Bellator (Jeremy Stephens is fighting as I write this, for example) and if you're a professional wrestling fan, you'll appreciate the fact that Lillian Garcia does the ring announcing!
