An Alabama Player Tried to Give Some Cake to Players from the Losing Team of the Spring Game and Nick Saban Was Having None of It

You know why Alabama has become the greatest dynasty in the history of college football under Nick Saban? Because winning matters to him. And you may think winning matters to your team's coach, but I assure you it does not matter to him as much as it matters to Saban.

Apparently, the winning team from Alabama's annual spring game gets a steak dinner and the losing team has to sit there and watch them eat it while they get frank and beans with white bread. These are the lengths to which Saban will go to manufacture competition. You have schools like Vandy tying spring games — which is hysterical, by the way — and Bama's players are out there going 100 percent to try to get a steak. The man is a genius.

Dallas Turner, a good friend, tried to give a piece of cake to some of his buddies from the less fortunate side of the Crimson Tide's scrimmage and Saban was absolutely not going to let that happen. He will make sure every player that lost a game which does not count for absolutely anything learns his lesson and watches the victors enjoy their steak and chocolate cake. I'm sure Turner will have some sort of punishment now for even trying to help out his pals. And while he was just being a good dude, he probably deserves it for doing that right in front of Saban, honestly.

Losers will not enjoy one piece of cake under Saban's watch and that is a promise.
