The NFL Is Investigating The Cleveland Browns For Tanking In 2016 and 2017
Are you serious? This might be the easiest accusation to fight in the history of investigations.

Gonna be real sad when they do all this work to find out we were just ass. We weren't tanking. We were simply incompetent at the head coaching position. And our roster was trash. Now, was that part of some grand plan to strip down the organization and rebuild it? Perhaps. But if that fits the definition of tanking, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. That's just how professional sports work. What would be wrong is if a team purposely tries to lose games (even though I still don't find that to be a huge problem). Regardless, that wasn't happening. We were just terrible. So if you're going to investigate the Browns for being terrible in 2016 and 2017, you need to widen the investigation to be for 1999 to 2017. And we'll all plead guilty.
What's the punishment for this 6 years later anyways? Give them all of our 1st round picks for the next 3 years and let's call it done. Or….and hear me out on this one….if we tanked our way to the #1 pick in 2018, take that player off our roster. Who was that again?
