Marshawn Lynch Was Born To Be A Zamboni Driver

Okay so truthfully speaking, Marshawn Lynch did a pretty brutal job at resurfacing the ice there. That cut job leaves much to be desired. Lines are sketchy at best, still massive areas of the ice he didn't even touch, I've seen better ice resurfaces from coaches just dumping out the rest of the water bottles after a hard fought 5-1 loss at 7 in the morning. But all things considered? I think he has what it takes to become one of the all-time greats.

He just has that "it" factor when it comes to driving the Zam. If this is the cut that we're getting on his first time behind the pump, well then I can't imagine what we'll see when he has an entire offseason to train.

Being a Zamboni driver is the closest thing you can get to being a rockstar without actually playing in a rock band. When you're driving that bad boy, you are the star of the show. Everybody else just stands back and watches in amazement of the kick ass performance you put on. Chicks want you and guys want to be you. Sure, you could just get out there and do the standard laps around the rink and call it a day. But what's the point of that if you're not going to add a little flare? Some pizzazz. Ripping donuts at center ice while the crowd goes wild. People are going to be packing into Seattle Kraken games next year just for the Zamboni shifts between periods, and they couldn't give less of a shit about the hockey actually being played.

Very rarely does someone step into the Zam game with that level of natural showmanship. I have a feeling that when all is said and done in Marshawn Lynch's Zamboni'ing career, he'll be right up there with David Ayres and the Zamboni driver from Happy Gilmore as far as legends go.
