Ryan Hartman Is The Exact Type Of Maniac You Want On Your Team Heading Into The Stanley Cup Playoffs

First of all, you have to love a perfectly executed bird flip. It looks so good, it feels so good. The fact that you can just flip one particular finger up and everybody knows the exact amount of hatred and anger you are currently feeling is amazing.

Second of all, I love Ryan Hartman. For the longest time the Minnesota Wild have been a team mired in mediocrity. A perfectly decent hockey club that would never been brutal beyond belief, but would also never take that last step to turn the corner towards being a legitimate contender once the Stanley Cup Playoffs roll around. They've always been missing that one piece to the puzzle. That missing piece was Ryan Hartman.

This is what you need in the playoffs. Obviously Minnesota knows they need to protect their skill guys heading into late April and May by bringing in a guy like Nic Deslauriers to the lineup. But you can't have Deslauriers out on the ice every shift with Kaprizov to protect him. The man can throw some fists like a son of a bitch, but he's not exactly known for lighting the lamp. But to have a guy like Ryan Hartman out there who is going to have his wires cross every which direction and attempt to pummel the shit out of Evander Kane for even thinking about going after Kaprizov? I like Minnesota's chances against anybody when you have 38 running around out there just looking for an excuse to rip somebody's face off. And he can also deliver on the scoresheet.

29 goals and 27 assists on the year so far with 10 games still to play. He can be a 30 and 30 guy who is also one of the meanest pricks on the ice at any given time. You need star offensive guys, you need great defenseman, you need really solid goaltending, but if you want to win in the Stanley Cup Playoffs then the most important thing you need on your roster are a few Ryan Hartmans.
