"Weak Ass Clippers, Beat They Mothafuckin' Ass" - Patrick Beverley Spewed Venom At His Ex-Squad After The Wolves Stunned The Clippers In The Play-In Tourney

Patrick Beverley is one of the most tenacious defenders in the NBA. One of the most mercurial personalities. He's ready to pop off at any minute. No one on a basketball court with him are guaranteed to avert his wrath. He even threw a vicious cheap shot at CP3 in last year's playoffs.

After four seasons with the Clippers, and playing a pivotal role in their Conference Finals during the 2021 postseason, Beverley is still CLEARLY salty about LA's decision to trade him away this past August. He let them KNOW following the Wolves' 109-104 victory over LA in which Minnesota outscored the visitors 31-20 in the final quarter:

And just so you can see it in glorified, explicit textual form: "Weak ass Clippers. Beat they mothafuckin' ass! Fuck outta here! Fuck outta here!"

TELL US HOW YOU REALLY FEEL, PATRICK BEVERLEY.

I gotta say, some guys who have this type of attitude can very easily rub fans the wrong way. If you're cheering for a team playing against Beverley, he is your worst enemy. I'm impartial when it comes to these two teams, but wow, this man has a VENDETTA. It's awesome.

Beverley has been an underdog his entire career. Underrated. Not appreciated or valued like he should be. Yeah, I think I'd be feeling myself a little bit too if I were him.

Plus, look, this Wolves team is young and, to paraphrase Charles Barkley, is about the dumbest team you'll ever see in terms of shot selection and general chaos. Minnesota attempts and makes the most 3-pointers in the NBA, plays at the fastest tempo, and led the league in points per game during the season.

The 33-year-old Beverley is the seasoned vet who brings that competitive fire and leadership players like Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards need to flourish in high-pressure situations.

As for his encore act? Well guess what? The Wolves are moving on to face the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies. As mentioned at the top, that was the team Beverley was INITIALLY traded to from the Clips. Memphis didn't even want him to PLAY at ALL for them. They traded him to Minnesota NINE DAYS LATER.

Oooh, I've got my popcorn ready. Keep that petty energy GOING, PatBev!
