Does This Look Like The Face Of The Most Hated Man In Derby, England?
The link above tells my background of how I became a fan of a 2nd Division English Footy club, Nottingham Forest. TL:DR...I've always loved the sport and have been watching the EPL for over a decade now, but never had a team. My brother got a job with NFFC last year. I started paying attention, learning, rooting for them just to support my brother and then over time I absolutely fell in love with them for a variety of reasons you can read in the above link if you're interested.
I've been tweeting about them basically every weekend since August. Minding my own business and just tweeting about things that I like or that I am interested in like I always do. I never contrive takes or fake interest just for social media growth. I think it is better to just be authentic and let the chips fall where they may. Not everything I do or say or think will resonate with the masses (clearly, burrata). My Nottingham Forest tweets fell/fall on deaf ears for the most part.

Pretty innocuous if you ask me. I figured that video would disappear into the internet abyss like most things, but...NOPE. Ratio'd into oblivion by haters from Derby County.

I have done my homework on Nottingham and part of that homework is learning about Derby County. An OLD rivalry. Older than many States in America. Older and more fierce than Auburn-Alabama, at least it seems. Some shared history. I knew I was supposed to hate Derby County, but I can't lie. I didn't have any real reason to because I wasn't born into this rivalry. I had never had any run-ins with them. They're a club that has fallen on hard times. I didn't really think about Derby at all. Well now they're both in the rearview mirror (because they're getting demoted) and in my crosshairs. I hate these people. There's nothing I like better than a grudge and an enemy and I will NEVER let this go. I fucking hate those people as much as they hate me. I wasn't born into Forest, like I said, but I will die with them. That's my team forever and I feel lucky for it. I'll take all the slings and arrows from people in Derby. I love a good rock fight and part of me is sad that Forest and Derby County might never play against each other again because, you know…the relegation of them and the promotion of Forest to the EPL.
