It's Time To Start Worrying That The ACC Is Actually Bad At Lacrosse

For years all we've ever known was ACC and Ivy League good, almost everybody else bad. Sure, the Big Ten has picked up since Maryland made the jump over from the ACC. But when it comes to college lacrosse, the ACC always reigned supreme.

This year this ACC is...well...the ACC sucks. Duke lost to Jacksonville (don't get me wrong, the Phins are a wagon). Last weekend the 2x defending champs Virginia lost to Richmond last weekend. High Point has been making life miserable for ACC teams constantly over the past few years. It's starting to seem like the SoCon--of all conferences--is the ACC's daddy. Just time and time again pulling down the ACC's pants, bending them over their knee, and giving them a good ol' fashion spanking. And on top of all these ACC teams getting cooked by the SoCon, you had Syracuse go down to Albany last night. Yuck.

Moral of the story is that for the first time in the history of college lacrosse, the ACC might just actually be a bad conference. Just imagine if Alabama, Georgia and LSU all got smoked by MAAC teams this year. Only this time imagine if it were a sport that people actually care about like lacrosse instead of just college football. But that's why college lacrosse is the best. You never know what you're going to get week in and week out. So get yourself ready for this weekend's slate of games with today's episode of The Crease Dive.
