It Is Official: Elon Musk Has Been Added To Twitter's Board After Buying 9.2% Of All Common Stock, Making Him The Largest Single Shareholder

There it is. There was speculation as to what Elon's role would be and if he would be more of an active investor. The CEO of twitter just confirmed a board seat for the richest man in the world and the largest stakeholder. Elon's response to this tweet

Put him in a god damn Stalin meme photoshop. Unbelievable. I can't imagine putting a coworker in a meme like that. 

Should be very interesting to see what kind of change this brings to twitter's policies on censorship. Maybe twitter won't be removing legitimate news stories for their own political gains. Maybe twitter will be fun like it was 10 years ago when it was jokes and memes before it was used to piss everyone off and rot our brains. Maybe. Maybe they will let Trump back on the platform. Love him or hate him, Trump's first tweet back will be the most anticipated tweet in history. He's probably hard just thinking about it. 

Overall, I am optimistic as to what this means for free speech on the app that has become the public square of the 21st century.
