And now apparently we have confirmation that it was. Will Smith says that he talked to Chris and warned him. Tough clip for Will Smith... oh boo hoo he didn't mention the scarf and Jake Gyllenhaal. Shut up, man. We all saw that you laughed at the joke at first. THEN you felt disrespected on her behalf because she was mad. Or something. I don't know. I still can't conceptualize going from an initial laugh to walking up and smacking a comedian on stage in front of millions of people and the entire internet in about two seconds. That's one of those situations where you have to eat shit from your wife in the car on the way home and then say you'll handle it in the future. 

UNLESS...unless the initial laugh was a "I can not believe this motherfucker did this again". An awkward laugh of disbelief before the rage settles in. Like, we've all been there. You have some asshole that you deal with professionally who is an asshole every day for years and you just don't have the tolerance for one ounce of their bullshit anymore so they say something you don't like and you snap. Can't do what Will Smith did though. Do just the vocal outburst. That would be plenty awkward for everyone involved. Speaking of awkward...
