The Texas Tech Player Who Stole Home to Beat Texas Last Night Followed It Up With a Walk-Off Grand Slam Today
If Kurt Wilson comes to the plate in the 9th inning or later of Texas Tech's series finale with Texas on Sunday, turn the game on because something insane is going to happen. On Friday night, Wilson ended the game with a walk-off steal of home plate. All he did to follow that up on Saturday was launch a walk-off grand slam to give the Red Raiders a 16-12 win and a clinch of the series over the No. 2 Longhorns.
Talk about having yourself a weekend. Not only did Wilson win two games in a row in probably the coolest ways possible, he got to do it against the Red Raiders' arch nemesis. He even gave a very nice Horns Down as he rounded second base after his grand slam.
I love this guy. Nothing but electric finishes and a cocky attitude. Talk your shit, king.
