Don't You Dare Talk Shit About Shawn Marion's Jump Shot Or He Will Come On Your Twitter Spaces And Deliver An Unreal Rant

You know what? I'm going to side with Shawn Marion here. Sure his shot was goofy as hell. But it was effective enough! The man had a damn good NBA career. He averaged 15 and 9 for his career. He was a 33% 3-point shooter, which, yeah isn't great but it's something. He wasn't scared to shoot unlike a certain individual in the NBA right now. It also was a different time. He averaged 2 3PA per game for his career. He didn't have to launch a shot if he didn't need to. He was awesome at getting to the rim and slashing. 

Now the whole premise here was this Twitter Spaces was arguing who'd be the GOAT if they had more help. Not sure how that matters or why that matters. But Shawn Marion decided it was interesting enough for him to hop in. And for as shitty as social media can be, this is one of the major pros of it all. Shawn Marion is a name that every NBA fan knows. Social media allowed us to listen to him rant to some people about his game. It's the best. 

And this rant? This rant is A+. Shawn Marion came in prepared. I'm going to go ahead and guess he's had this same argument before. He had facts, he had numbers, he was heated. Again, I don't blame him here. The guy was a 4x All Star and 2x All-NBA player. That's not bad! Weird looking jumper or not, that's not bad! He also hit the world with a perfectly timed suck my dick line. There are very few things more satisfying than that. A solid fuck you or hitting the finger at the right time plays. But Matrix delivered the line perfectly while ranting about his jumper. 

At the same time, I almost think him coming out with the number 1 winning percentage in Suns history is the best line. Such an obscure stat that only Marion knows that off the top of his head. He had that one in his holster for quite some time. Either way, I'm with Marion. No slander here.
