The Lakers Franchise Is Down So Bad They Are Now Getting Blown Out And Publicly Clowned By The Minnesota Timberwolves

I love these Wolves. How could you not? They are loaded with a ton of awesome young talent, they talk shit, and unlike pretty much every season over the last 16 years, they're pretty damn good! I feel confident saying that about a team that is now 41-30. They are also petty as shit which I can certainly respect. Pettiness is what makes the NBA so much fun. This is relevant because of what we all witnessed last night at home against the Lakers.

To say they embarrassed that sorry ass Lakers team doesn't really do it justice. They punked LeBron and Westbrook right to their faces and backed it up by blowing them out. Patrick Beverly legit hates Westbrook for all the shit he says about his defense.

Everywhere you looked there was another Timberwolve clowning how pathetic the Lakers are

You could tell it was eating LeBron alive inside. Now I will warn the Wolves and their fans, making LeBron mad is a dangerous game. Historically, that tends to not work out. Trust me, I know

and if the Wolves aren't able to get into the top 6, there's a chance we get a LAL/MIN play in game. I think at this point everyone is rooting for that right?

We even had KAT out here looking like an alpha!

That's not exactly the rep he has around the league but it just goes to show how down bad the Lakers are.

In a season that has had new low after new low, I do wonder where getting blown out and then clowned by the Wolves ranks. It's not like these are the Wolves of old, they don't stink. But it does feel weird to see Minnesota punk the Lakers like this, simply because it's been a lonnnnnnnng time since they've been able to do it. I say go nuts. Talk your shit. My stance on this has been pretty consistent. If you don't want someone to talk shit or clown you, stop them. Don't get blown out. Play better. There are plenty of things the Lakers could have done to prevent what we all witnessed last night, the only problem is they stink. I'd feel bad for them but ya know….fuck em.

What else can you say? The Lakers are now 11 games under .500. They've lost 3 in a row and are 2-8 in their last 10. After all that complaining LeBron did about how bullshit the play in tournament is, it's now his only hope of reaching the postseason. My guess is his views on it have changed! But at this point, is anyone even confident that they'll come out of the play in? They'll have to beat either the Clippers or the Wolves, two teams that are clearly better.

Meanwhile, the Wolves continue to be one of the most fun teams to watch in the NBA. I'm telling you, if they find a way to defend at even an acceptable level, not elite, just acceptable, they are going to be a tough out. I'm happy for the people of Minnesota, you deserve this. Enjoy the ride.
