BREAKING: THE JUICE IS LOOSE! Jussie Smollett Released From Jail Pending An Appeal Of His Conviction

CNN - Jussie Smollett was released from jail Wednesday night, after an Illinois appeals court granted an emergency motion by his defense attorneys. Smollett's legal team is looking to delay his sentence and grant him bond until their appeal on his conviction is decided on.

The former "Empire" actor was sentenced last week to 30 months of felony probation -- including 150 days in jail -- and ordered to pay restitution of more than $120,000 and a $25,000 fine for making false reports to police that he was the victim of a hate crime in January 2019.

He went Temple of The Dog on their asses, "eating" nothing but ice water according to his attorney, (who all of a sudden has a ton of balls and is talking tough as fuck after not saying a peep when his client was getting read the riot act last week.)

It's gotta be so fucking nice to be rich. Being able to break the law and then post 150k bond and wait out your "sentence" from the comfort of your Streeterville condo while the 150 days expires and you're off scot free because the Cook Country Court System is an absolute shit show, backed up for months if not years.

It's gotta be even better having Kim Foxx in your corner.
