Trevor Zegras Does It Again Then Has Angry Press Scrum After Game

The NHL's human highlight reel for the '21-'22 season added another gem to his CV last night in Arizona.

Not only did Trevor Zegras pull off another Michigan/lacrosse/Armstrong goal, he did it off his own rebound from a between-the-legs shot on goal.

And Sonny Milano did a great job of getting out of the way and staying out of the crease.

A road goal like that calls for a little celly.

But things got ugly with five-and-change left in a 5-0 blowout.

When did the Yotes hire Torts for the booth?

Zegras was playing the whistle and poked at the puck underneath goalie Carter Hutton. 36-year-old Jay Beagle took exception and put the lumber to the young Duck's back, knocking him down. Troy Terry then skated over to Beagle to confront him, probably expecting a typical NHL scrum with grabbing and face-washes. Instead, Beagle started whaling on the Anaheim sniper before he could even get his gloves off.

Per, it was the fourth fight of Beagle's 14-year career. He was given five for fighting, two for cross-checking, and a game misconduct. Terry was given two minutes for roughing.

A very animated Phil Kessel was also given a misconduct.

Not sure who he was yelling at but it looked like he said, "Fuck fucking piece of shit".

But after the game, Zegras was not happy with Beagle's actions.

Can't blame him for being pissed after watching Terry get unexpectedly pummeled in that spot. It's just too bad these two teams don't meet up again this year.

(What is up, Loui Eriksson?)
