Jelly Walker Becoming A Legend Is Why There's Simply Nothing Like March

Two simple words. Jelly Walker. He stole the heart of Barstool yesterday because of the way he played, the insane triple OT game against Middle Tennessee State and for moments like this.

You had an entire room of idiots going crazy for you. We couldn't stop talking about Jelly. But this is what March is about. A guy with a name like Jelly going for 40 and doing crazy shit like 4-point plays and running out to score 40 and get UAB to 100 on a layup for no reason. Look through the history of this month and you have guys that will always be legends because of a couple of games. Harold 'The Show' Arceneaux sticks out for me. He had the name that stuck and made him even better. That's Jelly Walker. There's something about the name Jelly that just works. 

Besides the fact he's actually a damn good player, UAB is a good team. They have the C-USA title game against Louisiana Tech tonight at 8:30. We're already locked into UAB. We're already locked into the game. It's a legacy game for Jelly. A win here and he's in the NCAA Tournament. But it's even bigger than that. It's why there's nothing like March. A random player on a random team brings you and your pals all together. We had more emotion for UAB than any of our own teams last night. 

So shout out Jelly. I can't wait for the C-USA title game.
