Spin zone: In most years, we would DIE for our QB to have those types of stats! </p><p>The annoying part is we struck out on Russ, never had a chance with Rodgers, and have settled for Wentz. Again though, I don't think he's nearly as bad as people are reacting. It's not like we just brought in Blaine Gabbert. It's not like we're riding with Garrett Gilbert. Wentz is a proven NFL quarterback and AT WORST is a nice stop-gap. </p><div id="Article-Ad-Placeholder" data-union-ad></div><p>So no, I will not poo-poo this trade. I think Wentz is getting it way worse than he deserves, and I will give him every chance to prove why he was the 2nd overall pick in 2016.
