Russell Westbrook Claims People Calling Him 'Westbrick' Is Shaming His Legacy And The Legacy For His Kids

[Source] - "'Westbrick,' for example, to me, is now shaming," he said, referring to a condescending nickname that makes the rounds online seemingly whenever he has a poor performance. "It's shaming my name, my legacy for my kids. It's a name that means, not just to me, but to my wife, to my mom, my dad, the ones that kind of paved the way for me."

The fact that 'Westbrick' got this sort of response is fucking hilarious. Now listen, I shouldn't have to say this but I will, there are serious things going on, I get it. His family has apparently gotten harassed and death threats. If you do that you're a loser. You're the scum of the Earth.

But 'Westbrick'? That's just funny.

Even funnier is how Russ thinks it's ruining his legacy and the legacy for his entire family. You know, Russ could just, take better shots? Learn to shoot? Options like that. Maybe don't go 4-for-20 or whatever a handful of times. I'm not even an anti-Russ guy. I always enjoyed watching him. I also think he gets a little bit of a raw deal when people talk about him, but the fact is he throws up some BRICKS.

Or you have this happen:

Westbrick is a funny nickname for someone who is trying to troll or annoy Russ. That's just a fact. It happens to EVERYONE. Which brings me to my next point. If anyone mispronounces my last name from here on out, you will be ruining my legacy and my son's legacy. Fucking Ronald and the Throat Goat had to pronounce it differently and ruin it for the rest of us. Just remember that when you pronounce Reagan incorrectly.

I don't know man. Like I said if you're truly harassing his family and sending death threats because the Lakers suck you're pathetic. But Russ has gotta expect to hear Westbrick even more.
