Former UFC Champ Cain Velasquez Involved In Shooting (UPDATED)

NBC Bay Area - San Jose police are investigating a shooting near Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue, near Sobrato High School.
Sources with direct knowledge of the investigation confirm for NBC Bay Area that the shooting reported Monday involves UFC and WWE star Cain Velasquez. Police will only say one man has been taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries and another man has been arrested. It is unclear how Velasquez is involved.
The former UFC heavyweight champion and wrestling star was born in Salinas and lives in the South Bay. The shooting, which was reported at 3:14 p.m., happened near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue, police said.
Further information regarding the shooting wasn't immediately available.
Police asked the public to avoid the area.

Apparently 2x UFC Heavyweight Champion/2x My Mom's Basement guest Cain Velasquez was involved in a shooting this afternoon in the Bay Area. From the picture provided on the news site....
....it looks like it could've been a road rage shooting or something of that sort. One man was injured (non-life threatening) and taken to the hospital and the other was arrested, but it doesn't say which one was which or how Cain was involved; so as of right now, we don't know if Cain was shot or the shooter.
I know this may sound naive, but he really seemed like the most laid-back/mellow dude in the world both times he was in our office so I'd be legitimately shocked if he was the one whipping a pistol out his window GTA-style - but you never know. Some people have short fuses.
I still think about this video of a guy just taking out a gun out and shooting at another car right through his own windshield every now and then....

Shit like that TERRIFIES me and always makes me think twice about flipping the bird or laying on the horn any time I get cut off or anything. There's some fuckin lunatics out there that just aren't worth messing with. I'd much rather say, "Ah damn, what an asshole" to myself than have to navigate the third act of a Jason Bourne movie in my Toyota Corolla.

UPDATE: Cain Velasquez WAS the one arrested for attempted murder after all. He did, in fact, shoot someone yesterday. Fucking insane. What a world. TMZ obtained his mugshot linked below.
