There's Nothing James Harden Has Ever Loved More Than Partying, Strip Clubs, And Staying Up All Night Then Going Right To Practice

This clip is going pretty viral these last two days for obvious reasons. My question is.....why? Is this new information for people? Everyone knows who James Harden is right? So while some people may choose this opportunity to clown on Harden and try and use this as a reason why things won't work as a Sixer, I actually think the opposite. If anything, this just makes James Harden even more impressive as a basketball player to me. You have to remember, he was doing this shit while in Houston and then went out and did this

I'm sorry, if you don't find that impressive then you just prefer to hate Harden no matter what. This is the same man that would prepare for the NBA season by not going to training camp but instead going to Vegas and the club and then showing up and dominating like he always has. The same man that sparked this Reddit investigation

The same man that has his jersey retired in a Houston strip club. Hate his style of play, hate how he's handled his team selection process these last few years, but be honest. It's wildly impressive that Harden is able to live and act like this and then still be one of the greatest offensive players the league has ever seen. Guy is part of the Top 75 team while living a life that I'm pretty sure would kill us mere mortals. Everyone else on that list spent their entire lives working out, dedicating themselves to their craft. Harden? He fits basketball around his other activities. I find that both hilarious and wildly impressive. It just goes to show how much natural talent this man has.

With the Sixers and Harden debuting tonight on the road against the Wolves who just beat Memphis last night, I can't wait for the overreactions one way or another. Anyone who is willing to think rationally will understand this is literally the first time they are playing together and things will look different as they get more comfortable with one another. But the internet is not for rational takes. However it ends up, things will be taken to the extreme. If the Sixers look good and win? People will go nuts to the point where I'm pretty sure Sixers fans will declare they'll never lose again. If they struggle and lose to a team on a B2B? People will freak out in the other direction. There will be no rational takes no matter what happens, and that makes for a great game. Personally, I think the basketball fit will be just fine right away. Again, we're talking about a generational offensive talent and an MVP candidate. They can run P&R together. Harden is one of the best passers in the league. I have no real questions about their fit. There are other things like figuring out who to play through at certain points of a game, but that's stuff that gets ironed out the more minutes/situations they play together.
