“The Knicks Are A National Disgrace” - Stephen A. Smith Is #DONE With The New York Knicks After They Blew Their THIRD 20-Point Lead Of The Month

These are the rantings of a man who has been not only hoodwinked, but also bamboozled. Not to mention run amok. Don’t even get me started on how led astray he feels in this moment in time. Not since the days of SLA-VA MED-VA-DEN-KO have I seen this man so irate at something that took place on a basketball court.

But as much as it pains me to disagree with the legend… the Knicks aren’t a national disgrace. Not by a long shot. In fact the Knicks being a dysfunctional tire fire is the most normalcy I’ve felt in a good two years. Them being in the playoffs with home court wasn’t natural, it didn’t feel right. This team? Thibs grinding his best player’s ligaments directly off the bones, the guy running the show hiding in the shadows after giving Evan Fournier tens of millions of dollars simply because he was available, allowing opposing players to have career moments on their home floor, this is New York Knickerbocker basketball in its purest form.

A New York disgrace? I could see that. An affront to the very concept of basketball in its most infantile form? No doubt. A disgrace to these United States? For sure not. The Lakers earned that title months ago.
