Odell Beckham Jr. Is Wearing $200,000 Cleats Made With 1500 Diamonds Tonight
TMZ- Win or lose ... Odell Beckham Jr. is hitting the field in style today -- the Rams star will be rocking a custom pair of $200K cleats featuring diamonds in them for the Super Bowl LVI pregame. TMZ Sports has learned ... OBJ teamed up with Dominic Ciambrone, aka "The Shoe Surgeon" in L.A., and Jason of Beverly Hills to create "the most expensive cleat ever" for Beckham to wear on Super Sunday.
We spoke with Dominic -- who has over 1 million followers on his social media page -- and he told us Odell's 1-of-1 cleats feature yellow gold (symbolic of the Rams' colors) and 1,494 round brilliant white diamonds on the Nike swoosh sign.
FYI, the turnaround time for a project like this is typically 3-to-5 months, but Dominic told us his team spent over 100 man-hours working on the project to ensure the cleats were ready for game day.
I know Odell has taken a lot of shit over the years, but you cannot deny that having him in the Super Bowl just feels right. If you saw a headline that said Cooper Kupp or Ja'Marr Chase were rocking shoes worth almost a quarter million during warmups, there would be at least a little bit of shock. But with Odell, I didn't even bat an eyelash. Shit, I'm surprised he isn't running around wearing shoes made from the opal in Uncut Gems.

Not that giving a bunch of white diamonds grass stains for a little extra clout isn't impressive. Of course it is. But the guy has been an A-List name ever since he made that one-handed catch against the Cowboys in primetime a million years ago and now he's pulling the same move as those A-Listers by wearing preposterous shit before entering the biggest night in his respective industry in LA. Adele wears Prada. Leo wears Armani. And Odell wears Nike.
Quite a leap from working in Cleveland with Baker Mayfield before his dad called out that entire operation. I said it before and I'll say it again. Odell Beckham Sr. deserves a ring if the Rams win the Super Bowl tonight and if the marketing department has any brains in their heads, they'll give Odell all of Baker's commercial spots the minute his contract runs out.
Anyway congrats to Odell for being exactly where he should be and fuck Goodell for only allowing players to wear cool cleats during warmups.
