Stylebender Adamantly Defends Joe Rogan Ahead Of UFC 271

UFC 271 goes down TONIGHT from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and although Joe Rogan won't be there due to a last minute "scheduling conflict" (aka ESPN likely pulled him from this card) - Israel "The Last Stylebender" Adesanya was there to defend his character and honor at the press conference....

“First off, let me take this one,” Adesanya said. “Hold up. I’m Black. I can take this one. Look, there’s a lot of cunts in this game. There are a lot of snakes in this game. I’ve been in this fight game since 2008. Joe Rogan is one of the nicest, coolest, humble motherfuckers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Understand that.

“Fuck the noise. You know what they’re trying to do. You can’t control the man. He’s got the biggest platform in the world right now. That’s my n---a Joe Rogan. Fuck the noise. Just keep doing you, Joe. Have some mushrooms. Keep doing you.”

Pretty awesome of Adesanya to do, and something I think almost any true friend of Joe Rogan would do here. Joe appreciated it as well....

Like Dave said in his videos about this, Joe has made some horribly racist 'Planet of the Apes' jokes in the past and used the N-word about 70 times on his podcast, usually quoting old Richard Pryor bits - and if you want to write him off forever because of that, you're entitled to that opinion. I get it. This current dialogue about him being some kinda alt-right monster out to spread information like Alex Jones is just fucking crazy, though.

Anyone who tries to paint Joe as a far-right (or even right-leaning) has never listened to a second of his podcast, and only knows him through viral clips here and there. Here's a compilation of his political views over the years….

He's a huge lib who likes guns and questions everything he hears about COVID. That's about it.

Speaking of the card tonight, though - Paddy's already got a boost on the Barstool Sportsbook….

….and I've got one coming shortly that'll featuring all of Stylebender's City Kickboxing teammates together.

It should be a truly awesome SuperBowl Eve event, so if you've got nothing else going on tonight, tune in and follow along with my blogs here on the site! Should be interesting to see what comes of Joe being pulled, because as much as they wanna tell us a last-minute conflict came up, we all know that ESPN did that here. It sure as fuck wasn't Uncle Dana. So we'll see if he gets asked about it in the post-fight presser I suppose.
