FSU Had So Many Injuries They Played A Walk-On Named 'The Weatherman' Because That's His Dream Job ... Dude Drops A Double-Double

Chalk this up to a new one. FSU had so many injuries at the big man spot, they went into today's game against Wake short handed. Fine, it happens. But then the starting center in today's game gets hurt. What happens next? Harrison Prieto comes in and drops a double-double.

Sure, they lost to Wake. That's not the point. FSU loses a lot this year. The point is the dude is nicknamed The Weatherman because that's all he wants to be. He doesn't care about anything else. This is from the FSU website

a meteorology graduate student who came to Florida State because of its excellent School of Meteorology at Florida State…excelled at an internship at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Tallahassee during his collegiate career…appeared on the Weather Channel as a guest of Jim Cantore and Florida State Meteorology alumnus Stephanie Abrams on February 27, 2019…his nickname is “The Weatherman” which he got from former Seminole Assistant Coach Dennis Gates

Never seen someone who looks more like their nickname than this dude.

That's a man who is ready to tell you to expect 3-4 inches of rain. Maybe a cold front coming in. He's out here getting a double-double too, which is somewhat remarkable. Just to prove a point, he didn't even play in 10 of Florida State's games this year.

The Weatherman. What a nickname. What a showing. If only FSU could win a game.
