Former Ohio State Quarterback Joe Burrow Just Said, And I Quote, "I'm Definitely Still A Buckeye"

Well there you have it, folks. I've been trying to tell you meatheads for the last 3 years, but now it's good you get to hear it straight from the horses mouth.

"I'm definitely still a Buckeye" -Joe Burrow, Ohio State Class of 2018.

And now he is about to become the first ever Ohio State quarterback to start in the Super Bowl. What a monumental moment that will be for this great university. Of all the great QBs to come out of Columbus, Joe Burrow will carry the torch for our program onto the sports biggest stage. And I don't know how anyone else sees it any differently. Joe Burrow grew up in Ohio, played at Ohio State, graduated from Ohio State, and then decided to pursue his Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from a school called Lousiana State University. Literally happens all the time.

What a great career he had. I'll never forget his last year here, 2017, when he went 7 for 11 for 61 yards. Yes, you're reading that right, my guy finished with a jaw-dropping 63.6% completion rate.

Oh, and let's not forget about his signature Buckeye moment. With Ohio State needing 4 yards for a first down holding a mere 55-3 lead over a tough Nebraska team, Burrow tucked the ball and squeezed through a collapsing hole to put the Buckeyes up 59 points and seal the game.

Really earned his helmet stickers there. Top 10 moment in Ohio State history?

And here's my question, seeing as Burrow made it very clear this afternoon that he is "still a Buckeye". What will it look like when Joe undoubtedly gets inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame? I thought maybe he'd go in as an LSU Tiger seeing as he saw some success there, but after reading today's quote, maybe a split jersey? All Ohio State? I don't know. Guess we'll have to ask OSU Joe.
