Caleb Williams Announces He's Following Lincoln Riley to USC

If any Oklahoma fans were starting to have their negative feelings towards Lincoln Riley dissipate at all, this will surely bring them right back to the forefront. Former OU quarterback Caleb Williams announced he will follow Riley to Los Angeles and transfer to USC.

Williams currently has the fourth-best Heisman odds in the country at +800 after stepping in for Spencer Rattler and becoming Oklahoma's starter halfway through his true freshman season. He finished the year with more than 1,900 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and four interceptions.

This will likely be the biggest experiment in how drastically the transfer portal has changed college football. A USC team which is coming off a 4-8 season got the coach it wanted, who just so happens to be able to bring one of the best quarterbacks in the country with him who can step in and start immediately. The Trojans just went from a four-win team to a legitimate problem as quickly as any program possibly could.

For the first time in a while, USC is going to be must-watch football. Even with Sam Darnold, the Trojans weren't really ever overly exciting to watch under Clay Helton. Riley and Williams are going to bring showtime back to L.A.
