'FUCK YOU' - Texas Tech Fans Welcomed Chris Beard Back On Campus With Nothing But Politeness And Gratitude

Good God almighty, it's going to be (I know overused term) electric tomorrow night in Lubbock. No other way to describe it. We have people camping out for 4 days to scream at Chris Beard. Now did I expect Texas Tech fans to clap and give him an atta boy when he arrived on campus? In a word, no. I expected this because Texas Tech fans are fucking ruthless. They don't care about money or any reasoning why someone might leave Texas Tech. The moment you leave Lubbock, especially for a conference rival in your own state, you are now the enemy. That national title game run? Fuck you, pal. Learn to not give up a three from the corner. Guys like Keenan Evans and Jarrett Culver? We will credit Mark Adams for all of that, pal. 

I know it's not Chris Beard, but I do respect Brock Cunningham deciding to rile up the crowd on behalf of his new coach. 

That won't fire them up or anything. My only wish is Lubbock was located in a place that was easy to get to. Outside of any Kentucky game, tomorrow would be a top game I'd want to go to. That's how crazy this place is going to be. The dude turned Texas Tech into this program and is now beyond hated. I love it. I want Beard to embrace being the villain and Texas to try and big brother Texas Tech. I want Tech to spend all 40 minutes losing their shit. This is what makes college sports different than anything else and why I'll always love it. You're supposed to hate your rivals. I support the move.
