Breaking Down The Tom Brady Timeline From Today

Congratulations and praise rolled in, but don't you typically tell your employer if you're done first? Things didn't fully add up and then Tom's social team which surely had a graphic ready to go if this news were to come down, deleted the tweet. Wait, what? I thought Tom was retiring?

Tom's agent, Don Yee offered this quote:

"I understand the advance speculation about Tom's future. Without getting into the accuracy or inaccuracy of what's being reported, Tom will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy. He knows the realities of the football business and planning calendar as well as anybody, so that should be soon."

Followed up by this report that Brady has still yet to inform the Bucs he is retiring.

Now, as a Bucs fan for life, I am optimistic he will return. That being said, the original Schefter tweet is co-authored by Jeff Darlington who is Brady's guy. As news began to break of this last night, I cited I would only believe it when either Brady himself or Darlington broke the news.
