Antonee Robinson Saved The USMNT's World Cup Hopes And Promptly Delivered An All-Time Celebration

Bang. Three points. That was the goal. I don't care if it was ugly. I don't care if Gregg made some weird roster decisions and subs that we knew were coming and didn't want to believe it. I care that we got 3 points at home. That was the goal. It's World Cup Qualifying, it doesn't matter how you get the win as long as you get it. That's especially true today when all the top-4 teams are playing the bottom-4 teams. 3 points here was a must.

We got three points because of Antonee Robinson and Timothy Weah. They saved us in a game that really should have been over by halftime. Jesus Ferreira had some awful touches around early that should have given us a lead within the first 20 minutes. You get a lead against El Salvador early and it's all but over.

Luckily we do what we do in the 2nd half. We're a completely different team every single time in the 2nd half and that's where we strike. We did it again. Perfect shot by Robinson but somehow a better celebration. Broke out the cartwheel, backflip and pretended to fake an injury. After faking the injury literally danced. You can't have a better goal celebration than that in the situation. I don't even think I'm overselling it in the headline, something we're known to do. You do the fake injury and walk away like that with the light show? Dope as shit.

3 points. Let's go get some more against Canada without Davies this weekend.
